There are loads of cool pieces of decor you can use to get the desired look, and this post is going to be looking at all of my personal favorites. Let's take a look!

First of all, you'll need some How to Train Your Dragon bedding to form the centerpiece of the room. There isn't a lot of it available out there, but what does exist looks really amazing. Check out the colorful and bold How to Train Your Dragon 2 comforter above - it would look incredibly in any child' bedroom. You can get the matching sheet set here, and some extra pillowcases here.

Shopping on a budget? If you are looking for a good alternative to a somewhat pricey full bedding set, then there are also some cool blanket sets like this one that you can get. All you need to do is toss over your existing dark bedding and sheets for an awesome look. Pretty neat!

You can add quite a big range of pillows and decorative cushions to the mix too, whether you get the bedding or the blanket. For example, on the right is my personal favorite, a cute Toothless dragon toy and pillow combo.

How to Train Your Dragon Wall Decorating

Next up, it's time to decorate your walls. There are a number of ways you can brighten up the boring blank patches of your walls, and my personal favorite is to use wall decals. Check out the set above - it comes with Toothless, Hiccup and many other dragons from the movies in decal form! These cuties don't leave sticky marks on the walls either, so you can remove them easily at any time.

If you are planning to paint your room to match the theme, there are a few things you can do to add an original flair to the room. For example, why not start with a sky blue base and then add some clouds to the background? This would go excellently with the dragon decals - it will look like they are flying through the sky! Above is a fun and easy follow tutorial which will show you how to paint some great looking clouds on your walls.

How to Train Your Dragon Bedroom Accessories

Last, but not least, you can add the finishing touches to your new room with some How to Train Your Dragon bedroom accessories. Figurines are a good choice, as they are very versatile and can be used to decorate shelves, windowsills and bookcases. There are lots of different styles too, from realistic depictions to more chibi styles, like the Cloud Jumper ornament above. You can get almost all of the dragons from the TV show, so they are a lot of fun to collect and decorate your room with.
